How our school works

Grades 11 to 13 (also called Sek II):

  • In Grade 11 pupils have to choose courses; it is obligatory to have a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 12 courses; there are no class divisions as in SEK I.
  • In Grade 12 and 13 pupils have to choose 9 courses out of the courses which were chosen in Grade 11.
  • Pupils have to choose either two language or two science courses out of those 9 courses.
  • Pupils have to choose two high performance courses (five lessons a week instead of three in the basic courses).
  • At the end of Grade 13 pupils will be tested in four courses ( two of them are the high performance courses ); three courses are tested in writing, the fourth is an oral exam
After passing the exams the pupils get their diploma with which they may apply to any university.
  • At the end of Grade 12 or at the beginning of Grade 13 pupils go on a 10-days trip abroad
