Grades 5 to 6
Homework care

- The marks in these first two years decide whether the pupil
may stay at this school or if she/he has to change to a different
type of school
- English is the first foreign language
- In Grade 5 pupils have "godparents"( students
of Grade 10) who take care of them if there should be any
problems or if they need help.
- In the first semester of Grade 5 pupils get the chance to
get to know one another on a trip which takes two days.
- The school contacts the primary schools to exchange their
experiences with the pupils.
- The school offers a homework care to pupils who have problems
understanding homework; Students of Grades 9 to 11 take part
in this project in order to help these pupils
- In the second semester of Grade 5 pupils will be introduced
to work with a computer by the teachers
- "read aloud" competition
